On August 5th, 2010, Bill and I did another bike ride. This time from Mountain Green Utah, up through Peterson to Morgan along the Old Highway Road that parallels I-84 Freeway. We rode through Morgan, then headed up East Canyon Road to ride around Morgan Valley. We cut across Richville Lane to Richville. Then headed back to the north along Morgan Valley Drive through Littleton, Milton, and back under the freeway into Peterson and Mountain Green. We decided to ride over to the Morgan Airport located there and check it out. (some pictures included of that).
We did 30 miles of riding, and there were many hills, up and down hills, long hard hills. Oh what fun we had. The Old Highway was fairly busy, with not much shoulder to ride on, but once past Morgan, there was less traffic, and even less along Morgan Valley Drive. That road was also quite long, about half of the ride, and with few hills. It was a very good ride to get in some miles.
At one point along Morgan Valley Drive just past Milton, we saw a field full of Fallow Deer and Geese, ducks, and other critters. Seems a farmer is raising them. It was a great day, and cooler than back home. If you are not familiar with the area, or townships, some are so small that you will not realize when you pass through them.

I used a small Canon Powershot, SX210, 14 Megapixel Camera which has Image Stabilazation and a lens going from wide angle to 14x optical zoom. These photos are set to lower resolution and compressed 10:1 for faster loading. You are welcome to look at or download any of the photos.
