HIKING TO ADAMS CANYON FALLS
Oct 2004 - 24 photos

On Saturday the 9th of October, 2004, we hiked into Adams Canyon above Layton Utah to check out the falls. This was my second trip. My Neighbor Roy and I met Carolyn and Penny at the parking lot below the canyon and started up the steep climb. Penny brought along her grandson Dakota, who was a real sport never complaining once, which was really something for a guy his age. It was a fun hike, with lots of fall color. The trail up to where it meets the bonnevile shoreline trail is quite steep, but after that it's not so bad. I still marval at the thought that this awesome canyon, with it's beautiful falls, is so close to our cities. The hike is a little under two miles one way, with a climb of about 1,500 feet.
